The Credit & Collections Specialist will report to the Director of Credit and handle a portfolio of business-to-business customers. The portfolio will include a territory and some National Accounts. Responsibilities will be setting credit limits, collecting, and helping resolve disputes. Collecting will be via phone, e-mail, and mail. Review credit reports, bank references, trade references, and occasionally financial statements to set a credit limit for a new customer or review one for an existing customer. Identify and locate delinquent customers to collect payments or resolve disputes. This may be done via phone, e-mail, and mail. Advise external customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment to prevent product or service delays.
