TEXAS MEDICAL LIABILITY INSURANCE UNDERWRITING ASSOCIATION (JUA) The Texas Medical Liability Insurance Underwriting Association (JUA) is seeking applicants for position as Executive Director.   The JUA is a residual market mechanism created under Texas law to provide medical professional liability insurance for health care providers unable to obtain insurance in the voluntary market.  The Executive Director is responsible for managing the operations including oversight of underwriting, claims, financial reporting, investments, and regulatory requirements.  Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years or more of experience in medical professional liability insurance.
