WHAT YOU'LL DO

Research, recommend and develop reporting, data warehouse and data analytics solutions for the company; Research and recommend cloud-based technologies to perform development and experimentation of machine learning models; Perform presentations and demonstrations to users and departments; Work closely with users to understand and develop requirements; Create reports as necessary to demonstrate results of action plans; Ensure the integrity of reporting systems by utilizing checks and balances; Prioritize and manage all reporting and data storage performance variance analysis, identify causes, and develop action plans to correct; Partner with vendors and consultants to develop efficient means of gathering data on an ongoing basis; Provide research and recommendations for additional reports, tracking tools, and/or metrics that will contribute to the management of productivity and performance; Analyze data to isolate specific challenges and opportunities; Partner with Corporate Insights & Information and Data Governance (and other business units) to create data models to support business decisions using advanced techniques such as predictive analytics and machine learning.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Knowledge of:

• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Management of enterprise reporting system(s)
• Management of enterprise data warehouse
• Architect data structures
• Base knowledge of programming languages such as R and Python
• Inquisitive mindset, with a passion for big data

Ability to:

• Take independent action within established options and develop new procedures and approaches to problems when necessary
• Analyze assignments based on a broad knowledge of many factors where the application of advanced or technical concepts are required
• Perform large scale data analysis and deliver meaningful results to stakeholders
• Complete assignments and make decisions under frequent time pressures
• Effectively manage and motivate a team of data analysts.

This role has responsibility for the continued expansion and enhancement of the organization's data warehouse and will work with key stakeholders to deliver the data and tools needed to manage their business and customers.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science or Mathematics preferred.

Requires experience with various data mining systems and intermediate experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics.

Experience using ETL and database management systems

One or more years of project management experience preferred.

Supervisory experience preferred

Ongoing desire to stay current with software market and emerging technologies.
