| WHAT YOU'LL DO An internship with Busey Wealth Management provides valuable, real-world experience to prepare you for a career at Busey Wealth Management or elsewhere, while building on your classroom learning. Training, mentors, and role models will be there to guide you each step of the way. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Duties and Responsibilities: - Learn about various departments within Busey Wealth Management and the role they play in achieving the organization's goals
- Collaborate with associates to learn software and procedures to complete assigned tasks
- Complete special projects designed to build wealth management capabilities, client experiences, and efficient office operations
- Contribute as a team member to support the needs of designated Wealth Management group
- Independently perform research, analyze data, and, in some cases, present findings to associates or clients
- Learn how wealth management associates across multiple departments identify new opportunities through developing and maintaining client relationships
- Participate in weekly knowledge sharing meetings with colleagues and fellow interns to share experiences, prioritize goals, review and present work, and ensure a successful learning experience
- Assist in operational functions to streamline processes and strengthen the associate and client experience
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, and day-to-day communications with associates, and, in some cases, directly with clients
- Attend and participate in meetings and events as assigned
