FirsTech's Technology Business Analyst will provide functional and technical in-depth analyses for Web, Mobile and In-house Payment Processing Applications and Integration of IT systems.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Uses IT Agile/Scrum methodologies, including process flow definition and data flow diagramming through user stories and wireframe visual representations. Defines, documents, and analyzes business requirements, their impacts to the overall business case, and their alignment with IT's strategic objectives. Communicates information effectively to developers, quality assurance and business stakeholders.
Supports technical design, development, and other project activities by answering questions, participating in reviews, and providing background information about business needs and requirements/user stories.
Prioritizes backlog items across multiple teams based on level of effort, dependencies, and impact.
Leads planning sessions with SMEs to define requirements, processes and other related artifacts. Works closely with product managers on prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria that meets the needs of the business and technical requirements.
Participates in the development of user acceptance testing plans, scripts, and associated documentation. Reviews and approves documentation/results produced by others. Acts as a resource to carry out test plans and smoke tests as required.
Work closely with Product and Innovation teams to manage the release cadence and release exercises need to deliver new offerings and enhancements to existing product lines.
Leads roadmap planning and quarterly initiatives/deliverables meetings while holding owners accountable and assisting with keeping items on track.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
Requires 5 or more years of experience working with Engineering and Product managers as well as Business Analysis experience with software development teams, preferably in a high-volume transaction application development environment.
Requires successful completion of Undergraduate college degree relevant to engineering and information technology. Also have strong background with Scrum and Agile methodologies
