Develop and maintain an understanding of updated regulatory expectations related to stress testing and portfolio risk management (portfolio analytics).
Develop and prepare the annual stress testing risk assessment and testing schedule.
Lead the development of stress testing and credit portfolio analytic programs, which will provide Senior Management and the Board of Directors with reporting and analyses that enhances risk and portfolio management for the loan portfolio.
Manage and/or perform stress testing procedures based on approved testing schedule, which may involve calculating and analyzing various loan metrics where system data is limited.
Determine stress testing outsourcing needs. Identify and coordinate with third-party stress testing vendors/consultants, as needed.
Lead in the selection, implementation and ongoing use of stress testing systems, as needed.
Analyze stress testing results and identify the potential impacts that are reported to Senior Management, Board of Directors, auditors, and examiners.
Research and collect market data and market/industry emerging credit risks trends.
Develop, prepare and monitor key loan portfolio metrics based on historical, peer, and benchmark data to identify existing and emerging risks within the Bank's loan portfolio.
Analyze the potential impact of changes within the Bank's loan portfolio, markets, industry, and/or regulatory environment to identify emerging risks or trends.
Prepare written and/or oral reports to be provided to EVP/Risk Management and Audit Committee.
