Frandsen Financial Corporation is looking to add an Applications Support Specialist to our team in Arden Hills, MN. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, strong customer service skills, general troubleshooting skills, ability to handle conflict in a fast-paced, changing and growing environment, and be able to work independently. This person acts as a liaison between business line managers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Resolve complex customer technical and/or operational issues with core banking Applications and other banking related products. • Perform certification testing of various core banking applications and third-party vendor interfaced programming. • Implement new systems/features as part of upgrades or client requests. • Participate in system walk-through of technical and operational features, specifications and attributes of a new or existing financial application or system. • Provide training and detailed explanation to users about software use, navigation, reporting and other technical operations. • Discuss problems, answer questions, offer technical assistance and ensure proper handling/follow-up with clients and other groups' personnel. • Build an in-depth knowledge of all supported Loan, Deposit, ATM/debit card and other financial-based products and service applications, and offer business insight into the future development of new financial products. • Independent judgment and team participation are necessary. • Provide after hours on call support on a rotating basis. • Performs other duties as required.
Must have a 4-year college degree and/or 5+ years’ strong communication and analytical skills, experience working in bank operations. A candidate with an emphasis working in Loan Operations and Fiserv Premier core banking applications is preferred.
