As an Account Executive, essential responsibilities include:
Solicit and contact new business opportunities for life, health, and property/casualty insurance.
Complete submissions in a prompt manner and follow-up with insurance carriers, underwriters, and/or field representatives to ensure timely turn around response.
Provide quote analysis, proposal design, and account wrap-up functions for all new and continuing business.
Maintain strong understanding of conventional and unconventional insurance products (i.e. self insurance, retrospective rating, and dividends).
Prepare quotes and schedule appointments.
Maintain client relationships through new business and policy changes.
Demonstrated sales experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self motivated, directed, and detail oriented.
Proven customer service skills.
Documented ability to work in a team environment.
Previous experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
