ABG Retirement Plan Services (ABG) began as Small, Parker, Blossom and Ackerman, Inc. in 1968 with a staff of four. Today, the firm has grown to employ over 80 team members in its office located in the Twin Towers Office plaza in downtown Peoria.
ABG provides recordkeeping, administration and investment consulting services as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) to employer-sponsored retirement plan participants with more than $2.9 billion in plan assets. We are seeking a customer service ROCK STAR to assist via telephone and email with our retirement plan clients.
What you will do...
Provides clients with appropriate and timely communication in response to requests for services.
Consistently delivers all communications in accordance with ABG Retirement Plan Services’ standard turnaround time.
Responds to inquiries by retirement clients regarding the operation of their retirement plan.
Responds to internal inquiries and coordinates with other departments.
Monitors and reviews day-to-day plan activity, remains current with operational issues and seeks assistance from the Team Lead or Assistant Vice President to develop process improvements.
Prepares appropriate communications for clients.
Identifies additional ABG Retirement Plan Services business opportunities when working with existing clients.
Shows ongoing commitment to pension education and training.
What we seek...
Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting, finance, banking or related fields.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Associate degree or equivalent.
