The Branch Manager exercises total executive and administrative control over the functions of the branch. This includes ensuring that all sales and operational programs, policies, procedures are implemented and followed.
•Responsible for the expansion of core branch deposits. •Responsible for development of a branch marketing plan to accomplish this expansion. •Calls on existing and prospective clients to seek on-site opportunities to develop new core account opportunities. Work in partnership with the commercial lending area to expand existing business relationships and develop new businesses. Establish total business relationship, including core checking accounts. • Develop an ongoing sales culture within the branch and ensure branch staff implement and follow established sales protocols. • Ensure branch personnel implement and follow all operational guidelines. Maintains prescribed security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure. This includes following all operational controls to ensure the branch is running in a safe and sound manner. • Ensure additional training (sales, service, operations, compliance, etc.) are provided for branch staff not adhering to company objectives in these areas. • Ensure superior customer service is performed on a daily basis and Branch Shops are consistently superior to base line objectives. • Represents the company in the community by joining and being actively involved in community groups and organizations. This includes taking a leadership role, when appropriate in such organization. • Exercises the authority of a manager concerning scheduling, staffing, performance appraisals, salary recommendations, and termination recommendations. •Satisfactory and timely completion of all required regulatory training.
• 3 years of branch management banking experience. • In-depth knowledge of retail lending products, policies and procedures, retail bank deposit, non-retail products and branch operations. • Ability to influence, motivate and coach others. • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
