The Private Wealth Advisor will work with and coordinate the efforts of our experienced Investment Team, Financial Planning and Tax Specialists, Estate Planning, Portfolio Management, and Private Client banking services to create comprehensive financial strategies and solutions to help clients achieve their desired objectives over their lifetime. The Advisor will actively pursue opportunities to acquire new business - both in securing additional assets from existing clients as well as seeking new client opportunities. Client accounts will be monitored and serviced on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations and adherence to firm policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage each account to ensure that the client has a completed profile, is introduced to the appropriate specialists, and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced.
Ensure that the proposed solutions and services maximize the clients' needs, goals, and objectives.
Ensure that administration of accounts complies with terms of the trust or other controlling document. Balance the interests of all concerned parties, including the current client and future beneficiaries.
Proactively consult with clients regarding legal, tax, investment, and general administration of their accounts.
Develop appropriate individualized investment program for clients and partner with the Investment Team to ensure appropriate investments on an ongoing basis.
Ongoing education of clients on our investment philosophy and the clients' personalized financial strategies.
Communicate the Investment Team's perspective on current events and market conditions.
Support the client engagement survey to gauge client satisfaction.
Education and Training
Requires Bachelor's degree in Business.
Requires 3 or more years of related wealth management experience.
Certified Financial Planner is preferred.
Must be in good standing with First Busey Corporation continuing education.
On-going development and broadening of appropriate knowledge and skills; additional schooling will need to be successfully completed.
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
