Picks up and delivers correspondence between branches and Operations Center as well as various customer locations, on a daily basis per schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the position.
Picks up and delivers correspondence, internal and external.
Processes all outgoing mail through postage meter.
Maintains courier Delivery Log and Internal Transit Log.
Handles priority mail items per procedure.
Follows daily schedule as established by supervisor.
Performs non-scheduled tasks as required.
Monitors and/or ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, as well as Bank operation policies and procedures.
Performs additional duties as requested.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school degree or equivalent required; Six months to one year related experience and/or training required in customer service.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally); Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Requires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Requires ability to use good judgement in making routine and complex decisions; Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and Services; Ability to accurately handle large sums of cash; Must be goal oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals; Flexibility is necessary with the ability to adapt in an ever changing environment.
Other Required Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a good driving record; Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license.
