Seeking qualified candidates for the position of Trust Operations Manager within the Trust & Asset Management Division. This full time exempt salaried position is located at our Financial Center location in Geneseo, Illinois. The Operations Manager assists Trust Officers with administration of personal trusts, agencies, custodies, estates, guardianships, land trusts, life insurance trusts, individual retirement accounts, employee benefit accounts and other services. This position is responsible for oversight of the daily operational duties and related staff of three. Primary duties also include administration of client accounts to include processing of transactions, monitoring investments, coordinating distributions, purchase/sale of assets as directed by the client, and serves as a liaison with the department's software provider. The chosen candidate will be required to attend Cannon Financial Securities Operations I, II and III schools.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a Trust Department or related area. They must be computer proficient, possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to define problems and develop solutions, handle multiple job duties simultaneously, be discreet in confidential information and competent in handling pressure to meet deadlines. Previous supervisor experience preferred. Experience with tax returns and payments is beneficial.
