The Senior Accountant II role is within the Corporate Accounting Department of a global asset management firm and reports to the Assistant Controller. The Corporate Accounting Department is responsible for all financial transactions and financial reporting of the firm; including the consolidation of foreign subsidiaries and reporting to its parent company. Applications utilized within the department are Great Plains accounting system, FRx reporting, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. In addition to individual responsibilities, this role will serve as a possible backup to other members in the department.
Support Assistant Controller with annual year-end audit requests and financial statement preparation, including footnotes
Prepare work papers and relevant calculations to support the annual tax process related to the LLC and partnership entities
Support Global Financial Controller with transfer pricing initiatives
Process annual FATCA filings for Cayman fund entities
Prepare quarterly performance fee estimates and final calculations; Review rebate calculations
Prepare monthly revenue accrual and assist with the quarterly management fee and performance fee invoicing process
Assist with ongoing billing automation project
Assist in providing technical accounting support and rolling out new accounting standards
Participate in the month-end close process by supporting the Team Lead-Accounting & Treasury with monthly initiatives, as needed
Perform all task related to share based accounting and quarterly re-valuations
Fulfill ad hoc requests from internal and external constituents

Master’s degree in accounting and CPA required; Masters in Taxation and/or experience with partnership tax a plus
3-5 years of a public or public/private mix of accounting experience
Must have extensive experience in Excel and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
Must possess strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and well organized
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively, multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environme
Additional Salary Information: Base + 25% bonus
