A leading Georgia financial institution seeks a Systems Administrator to manage and support our Bank’s core processing platform (Jack Henry/Silverlake).
This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, working with internal customers/departments and providing solutions to system problems. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and manage the Jack Henry core including the release of new technologies, as well as performing installations, upgrades, testing, and maintenance of database;
Provide on-going support of the operation function as it relates to the core;
Consult with managers and end users on functional as well as system training needs;
Train users on operations and procedures;
Provide consultation to other department technical staff; assist users in problem analysis and provides technical support;
Either perform first stop problem resolution, or coordinate with internal support and operations group, and with vendors to resolve problems;
Follow up with internal customers to ensure the problem has been resolved;
Assist in the development and implementation of contingency and disaster recovery plans and in conjunction with Technical Systems and Information Technology Departments;
Maintain current knowledge of operating systems, understanding of Bank's operational functions and industry trends and developments in automation technology and products.
