Our team in BT Wealth advisors is committed to taking the time to understanding your financial goals and objectives, while working closely with your other professionals to achieve comprehensive wealth management. They will coordinate the resources you need, including trust services, investment advisory services, estate planning, retirement planning, and private banking.
It is the goal of the Financial Advisor to enhance the profitability and value of the Bank and BT Wealth Advisors by providing sound financial advice and counsel consistent with the client’s goals and risk tolerance, and meet organizational revenue targets. The Financial Advisor enhances and leverages strong client relationships building skills in connection with the provision of financial planning and investment advice to clients while meeting personal, professional, and organizational revenue goals. Financial Advisors are responsible for finding new clients, building relationships and collaborating with peers and key stakeholders, creating investment plans and recommending investments for individuals, business and non-profit organizations and others.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships by meeting with client to assess their financial needs.
Capable of developing a customized financial plan to address each client’s outlined goals and to maintain a strong relationship with clients, helping them to track their progress over time.
Business development focus as an individual producer and as a sales management leader with responsibility for managing a substantial portfolio of wealth related products and services for affluent clients.
Demonstrates expert ability and knowledge in leading and participating in client relationship building in collaboration with commercial banking team. Financially confident when interacting with a broad range of clients, specifically affluent clients.
Communicates with impact and enthusiasm in formal and informal settings audiences with staff and clients
Active leadership in community organizations and activities.

5+ years’ experience in a financial services environment.
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite and financial application software.
4- Year Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BS or BA) preferably with a business or finance focus.
Series 7 licensing
Series 66 licensing
Full insurance licensing
CFP Certification (Certified Financial Planner)
Knowledge of Codes of Conduct, securities laws and regulations
Local travel required 20-60%
Must possess a valid driver’s license
