Commercial Administrative Assistant acts as support primarily to multiple Commercial Loan Officers but may also assist Mortgage Loan Officers within the team. This role performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our high profile customers and assists in the development of new business through high level of customer service. Assists with collecting and processing loan documentation and applications within the commercial and mortgage areas. Ensures completeness, accuracy, and timely administration of the loan application and any required documentation according to loan administration guidelines and checklists.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Supports one or more commercial teams in the administrative functions related directly to commercial and/or mortgage loan fulfillment.
Supports the team in managing the prospective customer and loan application pipeline on the team point of sale system prior to a complete application.
Assists in ensuring that applications are processed in a timely manner.
Organizes team calendars and coordinates internal and external meeting, engagements etc.
Engages auditors and links them to the appropriate information as requested.
Process commercial loan applications accurately within a set period of time.
Tracks, obtains, and reviews all required documents requested by credit or the lender.
Reviews all loan documents to ensure accuracy for preclosing and loan closings.
Responsible for ordering title work, requesting the appraisal, recordings and other file requirements.
Maintaining and organization of customer files. Scans and indexes completed loan document for file accuracy. Works to ensure collection of loan documentation requirements to ensure accuracy, such as insurance requirements and tracking, UCC documentation, title insurance requirements, collateral perfection (i.e. UCC, mortgage recording, vehicle titles and CD’s).
Build relationships and engages sales staff regularly to meet customer needs.
Performs other job-related administrative duties and special projects as assigned
Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible loan documentation/processing experience.
Prior banking or loan experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of computers and software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Very strong organizational and time prioritization skills. Ability to work well independently and with all levels of people, both internally and externally in a fast paced environment. Experts Knowledge of loan documentation software and application input.
Expert knowledge of loan imaging system.
Have thorough understanding of loan process from application though post-closing tracking.
Have thorough understanding of customer service for loan servicing.
Have a knowledge of appraisal requirements.
Have a working knowledge of regulatory requirements for commercial loans.
