Serve as primary contact person for the Bank's commercial clients in the designated service area.
Cross-sell all bank products and coordinate with other departments to do so. Utilize sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service. Take commercial loan applications. Make calls on prospective and existing loan customers. Analyze loan requests via financial statements, tax returns and other supporting reports. Approve loan requests within officer loan limits and lending guidelines. Negotiate loan terms, rates and covenants. Prepare loan presentations for Management and Board of Directors. Review Bank documentation for completeness and accuracy. Contact past due accounts and negotiate workouts when necessary and possible. Attend and participate in Officer Meetings and Commercial / Ag Loan Department meetings and in Loan Committee meetings. Address customer questions, inquiries and problems quickly and efficiently. Be actively involved in the community and community organizations to promote the bank within a market area. Participate in Educational opportunities when offered. Be aware of external lending options such as Business Linked Deposit, SBA, Revolving Loan Programs, etc. Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulatory compliance that apply to position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Must be an independent self-starter and possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal, and technical skills.
