About Western State Bank
At Western, we ask ourselves how we can differentiate ourselves from the competition. Unfortunately, in our business, the products from one bank to another are very generic, so we must utilize the opportunity of the customer experience to differentiate ourselves from the "sea of sameness".
Thanks to our customers, Western is now approximately $900 million in total assets, with four locations in North Dakota and five in Arizona. Our size means we're small enough to fulfill our Vision Statement, yet large enough to offer the latest in technology-driven conveniences.
At Western, our employees are owners of the company. We encourage you to read our Mission Statement, Core Values and Team Guidelines so you know what we’re all about.
Western State Bank is a locally owned community bank, established in 1902, that keeps growing and growing! We currently are approximately $900 million in assets and over 200 employees. At Western State Bank, “what” you know is important, but not as important as how you relate to teammates and customers.
Our environment is based on the “Western Way” anchored in the principles of respect, curiosity, creativity, individual empowerment, and the abili...ty to listen effectively and communicate openly. We also believe in continual learning, bias toward action, keeping commitments, and doing our absolute best every day. We believe that our ability to deliver on our promise of being Your Hometown Bank is what differentiates us from the competition.
