We are seeking a full-time Universal Banking Manager with a minimum of 5 years bank management with retail experience. This position entails a variety of responsibilities, whose primary focus will be the management of Prairie’s retail banking business and will be a “hands-on” working manager. Serve as a Universal Banker as needed, with the ability to help customers by meeting and uncovering their financial needs, assist with problem resolutions and process transactions.
Lead team meetings to ensure proper alignment and delivery of Prairie’s products and services, as well as provide sales and service training.
Lead team in the identification and execution of sales opportunities.
Supervise employees and conduct evaluations by establishing, monitoring and communicating goals.
Engage, reward and provide guidance to employees to succeed with Prairie.
Monitors and reviews reports associated with the retail department.
Oversee and assist with all aspects of HSA and IRA accounts.
Maintains policies and procedures associated with the retail department.
Accurately process customer transactions including, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, cashier’s checks, loan payments and vehicle stickers.
Open personal and business deposit accounts
Assist in opening additional bank products and services including, but not limited to, debit cards, online and mobile banking, bill pay and electronic statements.
Assisting customers with the consumer loan process from application to closing.
Cross-service customers with products and services that will benefit them.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Assist customers with requests, complaints, research and follows-up on details to resolve matters to the customer’s satisfaction.
Proficient knowledge of deposit documentation, requirements and regulations.
Work effectively with management and coworkers to attain Bank goals.
Adhere to all operational, regulatory and security requirements, directives and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent or higher.
Minimum of 5 years of successful banking experience managing all aspects of retail, including account opening procedures, loan experience, cross-selling and customer service.
Strong listening and communication skills, excellent customer service skills and ability to build customer relationships.
Ability to resolve customers issues by providing effective solutions.
Ability to motivate, engage and work effectively with a team through collaboration.
Self-motivated, assertive and able to multitask effectively.
Ability to work evenings, early mornings and Saturdays.
