The Private Client Associate is responsible for developing, managing and retaining client relationships with high net worth individuals and selling a broad range of solutions in order to meet the client’s various financial needs. Specific solutions provided to these clients include depository, credit and other services offered by the bank. In addition, the individual must possess the ability to manage a variety of tasks and work in an interactive environment. Position supports the SVP/Private Client Advisor.
Responsible for assisting in the management of the daily activities for clients of the Private Client Department.
Ensures that the highest levels of client service are met in working with clients of Private Client Department. This includes but is not limited to, meeting with clients to help with bank transactions, picking up or delivering materials directly to clients, taking phone calls and being the point of contact for clients needing assistance.
Assists with consumer loans by gathering required information and preparing the initial introduction of the credit package for approval.
Prepares client proposals.
Prepares monthly reports of key departmental information and submits to other bank departments.
Coordinates marketing and event activities including coordination of seminars, mailings, client events, and follow up items.
Assists in establishing and maintaining the Private Client experience.
Maintains data for Private Client banking including Private Client list, contact management through Outlook and pipeline reporting.
Other duties as assigned including administrative and special projects
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent client service skills, with an emphasis on working with clients that have high expectations
Excellent verbal communication skills, both in person and via telephone
Excellent writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications including Excel spreadsheets
Strong knowledge of deposit/investment solutions and regulatory compliance requirements
Must be able to maintain the utmost confidentiality
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or equivalent discipline is required. Master’s degree or secondary post-bachelor’s degree is preferred
A minimum of three to five years of experience in consumer/banking industry including consumer lending
FISERV system experience preferred
