Conducts a thorough analysis of applications for commercial credit and provides a researched and documented package, for Loan Committee or Board to review.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Analyze credit information and prepare analysis package for Loan Committee or Board to review.
-Uses Sageworks (or other software) to spread commercial financial statements.
-Uses IBIS to research industry / competition, etc.
-Uses computer to research company / licensing / newsworthy information, etc. related to commercial loan application / guarantor.
-Works with loan officer to obtain information for complete, clear loan presentation keeping them informed of progress / documents needed, etc.
-Uses Excel (or other software) to combine information into package for loan presentation.
-Monitor commercial loan Borrowing Base Certificates as assigned.
-Monitor commercial loans with stock held as collateral quarterly, as assigned.
-Must maintain complete confidentiality of all information.
-Performs miscellaneous related duties as assigned by the Sr. Credit Analyst, Chief Credit Officer, or other CVNB administration officer.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualification Requirements: Three to five years’ experience as a Credit Analyst in a Commercial Bank. A bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in finance or accounting preferred.
