This job is ideal for someone who would like a career in financial services at a very successful firm. Unlike many firms, we do not expect this position to be about business development. The most difficult thing about being young in the financial services industry is bringing in your own business. As a firm, bringing in business is one of our greatest strengths, and therefore we don’t need a young advisor to bring in business. Rather, we need someone to assist advisors, and manage new relationships that the senior advisors bring in but don’t have the time to manage as the primary client contact. We would rather this candidate take the next few years to hone their skills and not worry about getting that next client. If you are attracted to the life in a big city like Philadelphia or New York, this is not the job for you. However, if you are someone who loves the beach and the idea of a 10-15 minute commute in an area with little to no daily traffic congestion, then you have found the right place. We are 50 minutes from Philly and 2 hours form New York, close enough to visit but far enough away that we don’t have to deal with their congestion issues.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience
