ICONIQ Capital is seeking to hire a Management Reporting Associate to join their corporate finance team in downtown San Francisco. The candidate will report directly to VP of Finance, while working closely with the entire finance function within ICONIQ. This position’s primary responsibility is producing all corporate finance management reports which will be shared with the partners and senior managers. These reports will largely be in PowerPoint format (sourced from Excel), but can also be in Excel format. The ideal candidate has experience translating comprehensive data into creative digestible presentations.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
The main focus of the role is gathering data from various departments and developing a comprehensive story from the data which is easily understandable by the targeted audience, i.e., Partners, managers, etc. The below are some presentations that will need to be developed from data:
Quarterly financial packet that focuses on revenue, expenses, profitability, headcount, etc. at the firm and department level.
Quarterly department-specific reports to provide insight into the performance of key business drivers specific to each department.
Monthly and/or quarterly variance analyses for non-compensation expenses (e.g. IT spend, Operations spend) overtime and compared to expense approved in the budget.
Monthly and/or quarterly spend on key projects versus expense approved in the budget.
Annual budget presentation, showing revenue, expenses, profitability, headcount, etc. at the firm and department level.
Quarterly travel and expense report.
Quarterly report detailing culture-related expenses by team across the firm.
Monthly firm assets under management report for the partners.
Produce regular and one-off reports that show key metrics and firm coverage of family office clients.
Liaise with several other teams (e.g. Merchant Bank Finance, Human Resource, Operations/IT) to obtain up to date information for reports and ensure alignment on information.
Regularly perform analyses and/or create exhibits in response to one-off partner and senior management queries (e.g. variance analysis of a given vendor or expense type).
Ad hoc projects as assigned by VP of Finance.
2-5 years of experience in reporting or similar role.
Professional and/or financial services experience highly desired.
Desire to help build out reporting function in a fast growing and dynamic organization.
Comfort with reporting across a variety of metrics and different departments.

Bachelor’s degree with concentration in accounting/economics/finance.
Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel preferred.
