Incumbent will facilitate the accurate and timely closing and funding of commercial credit transactions. S/he will assume the primary role in the review of commercial loan closing and renewal transactions to ensure that all conditions are translated into the legal documents and the loan is closed in accordance with the approval. Additionally, s/he will ensure the timely and accurate booking of the loan transaction, resolution of outstanding document issues, and post-closing file review. Incumbent will also be assigned a portfolio of commercial loans for on-going administration. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Commercial Loan Administrator- Fulfillment I – This entry level role is responsible for the below referenced duties. Credits will be assigned by complexity. A level I Administrator will perform these duties with the oversight of a manager or Senior Administrator.
•Reviews approval and draft documents pre-closing •Facilitates closing process with all parties (CRM, Legal, Borrower) •Orders inspections and appraisals as required •Books loan to system (both core and TCL if applicable) and funds initial closing •Provides on-going administration of loans as needed •Quotes payoffs and process payments •Process warehouse advances
Supervision of Personnel:
This position is performed in a regular office work environment. Must be able to work independently from remote locations and within the office environment. The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday and work will mainly be performed at the Maitland location; occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Flexibility with work location and hours may be granted if circumstances permit.
•Associate’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience. Experience
Commercial Loan Administrator- Fulfillment I:
1-3 years of related work experience in commercial loan administration and loan documentation. Experience in understanding specific loan structures and basic review of loan documentation. Familiarity with Fiserv core system (ClearTouch) preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
•Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. •Critical thinking is crucial. •Teamwork and customer service skills required. •Oral and written communication skills a must. •Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. •Must possess intermediate math and basic accounting skills.
