Research & Planning Consultants, LP, (“RPC”) is a firm based in Austin, Texas, that was founded in 1972. RPC has an opening for a consultant who is licensed as a certified public accountant in the State of Texas to provide accounting expertise for RPC reports. The type of prior experience most applicable to this position would be in litigation support or audit.
The consultant should have strong quantitative and writing skills, and should have at least 5 years experience in analyzing the accounting records of many types of organizations. Experience working with the accounting data of health care providers and health plans is very desirable. The position does not require the consultant to serve as an expert witness, but RPC values such experience. CFF designation a plus.
Additionally, the job requires

(3) the ability to work with attorneys, clinicians, and other RPC consultants
Though several of the firm’s full-time employed consultants work from home offices in other cities, the duties of this position require the consultant live in the Austin area and work from the firm’s office. RPC pays competitive salaries with a potential annual bonus based on the performance of the consultant and the firm.
