We are currently looking for a Wealth Strategist to join our Houston team. The Wealth Strategist works with the Relationship Managers and Client Service Associates as an integral member of the client service team assigned to each client family. Wealth Strategists primarily focus on a wide range of financial, tax and estate planning responsibilities. This position reports to one or more assigned Relationship Managers within the Wealth Management Group.
Specific areas of accountability
Works closely with Relationship Managers and client’s other advisors in delivering a comprehensive array of wealth management services as a “trusted advisor”
Maintains close communication with the Relationship Manager to meet client needs, complete planning assignments and support their implementation
Develops presentation materials for client and prospect meetings
Works with Relationship Managers to provide requested information and customized reporting between client meetings
Assists as required in the implementation of client financial plans
Responds to the client inquiries and initiates client contact when appropriate
Maintains current knowledge of a full range of financial counseling services
Established technical training and experience in financial, tax and estate planning for high net worth families
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other professionals as well as clients and their advisors
Able to proactively identify and solve problems using own initiative
Able to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
Able to work without close supervision, manage and prioritize multiple deliverables
A minimum of 2 years of financial counseling experience with high net worth clients and their advisors
Tax competency is highly valued
eMoney experience is preferred
Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution
Further academic or professional credentials are attractive
