The Credit Policy Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development and testing of new product features as well as the on-going maintenance of existing client installations of the Credit Leader Suite. The two core components of the Credit Leader Suite are the Credit Leader software application that is used to underwrite, risk grade and approve community bank loan requests and the Online Credit Manual which is a compilation of policies, procedures and product offerings used by Community Banks.
Job duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Assisting with the initial implementation and on-going maintenance of the Credit Leader application. The Credit Leader application is an underwriting, risk grading and approval software application used by small to mid sized community banks. This includes identification and definition of new functionality and changes to existing functionality. The applicant must have a good understanding of web based systems and the ability to work with existing and new clients in understanding their specific application requirements.
Assisting with initial implementation and on-going maintenance of the Online Credit Manual. The Online Credit Manual is a web-based help manual that covers the institution specific credit policies, procedures and product offerings. This includes identification and definition of new content as well as changes and updates to existing content.
The Credit Policy Analyst should be able to: •Understand bank credit products, policies and procedures and be able to translate that understanding to a system or technical team for implementation; •Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment to effectively meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision; •Have the ability to follow complex methods and procedures in diverse routine and non-routine tasks; •Develop customer relationships and have a positive customer service orientation; •Deal with confidential information in a professional manner; and •Be self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
Requirements: •University or college degree or combination of education and experience; •2 to 4 years of credit-related work experience at a bank or credit union; •Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and Word); •Good understanding of small to midsize bank loan types and terminology;
